In March 2020 founder, Lisa Hollinshead, was on a trip to Europe with her 3-year-old son to visit her grandma. The Spanish lockdown started, and COVID-19 began to really affect people across Europe. At this time Lisa felt so comforted to be surrounded by their loved ones and that we were well stocked with living essentials, however quickly realised there must be so many out there who aren’t so lucky…

Lisa felt so strongly that she wanted to create a solution for those needing support back at home in Australia. Friends and colleagues she’d spoken to made her realise that many others are also greatly wanting to offer their help, however unsure how to go about it. 

The idea for One Another was born - a smarter and more efficient way to match those who WANT to help, to those who NEED it, in their local community. This includes people who are usually fiercely independent, however now need help due to the current economic climate and international pandemic.
